PS To be honest, the details are very fuzzy, and I'm considering sending her an email for clarification. I just feel it is very hypocritical of her to oppose something that she more than likely benefited from.

It's possible there's more to this than what is being thrown around on the internet. I'll email her, and if she replies, I'll tell you what her answer is.
It's not hypocritical, Joker. She's saying that these babies should have to apply and qualify for citizenship. She's not saying "except for me". I would assume that she would be willing to earn her citizenship too.
it IS hypocritical because we can't suppose or read minds - we have to go by what she said.

That was a nice try though.
