Actually, a prequel comes beforehand. Since Mohammed came along 600some years after Jesus, Islam is a sequel to Christianity.

And BTW, Theo... I would say that Islam is more like an alternate sequel to Judaism. It sort of treats Christianity like Highlander 3 does Highlander 2.

Something like that. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are all three expressions of the Abrahamic covenant. Prequels come before and sequels come after. Judaism is clearly the prequel to both as Moses preceded Jesus by 1200 years and Mohammed by 1800 years and Islam is clearly the sequel to both as Mohammed follows Moses by 1800 years and Jesus by 600 years. As the last in the trilogy, Islam reduces Jesus from Messiah (as he was in Christianity) to prophet. But the point was that Koga was incorrect to consider Islam a prequel to Christianity, as Christianity preceded Islam by some 600 years.
