Hey everybody, I'm new here!

As a general principle, taxes should be as low as possible, while still allowing the government to perform its core functions (defense/order, infrastructure, and a basic level of social services) and maintain a balanced budget.

I can't see how anyone would actually want or enjoy high taxes.
