I never did say I believe in Creation, nor did I suggest that I disregard or deny science and it's amazingness. Science of course not being limited to evolution, seems a more logical answer to the world's questions than any religion on it's own.

However, I tend to avoid the conclusion that Science and Religion are mutually exclusive. It could be that God triggered the Big Bang (though that's a fairly ludicrous example) or that he created the psychological advantage and thinking patterns of humans in a base species, meaning they evolved physically but always had the mental capacity to think outside of the present and existing. I don't have evidence for this, and I'm not saying it's true, but technically nothing can be scientifically proven (give me proof of gravity, for example?)

Personally I await any evidence you or the order you admire has to offer. For anything at all.
Give me something more precise and I'll do my best.

Why might you do so?

Proof of gravity is simple.

Step 1: Hold a rock in your hand.
Step 2: Open your hand.
Step 3: Observe that the rock falls to the floor.

Give me something more precise which you have in mind.

-I avoid thinking they are mutually exclusive because I believe they aren't. A belief in God does not constitute a rejection of Science. Respectively, a talent or passion for science does not exclude a belief in Religion. If you want an example; Isaac Newton, one of the most renowned scientists of all time, believed in Christianity.

-Why might I think that God was responsible for the Big Bang, or actually created evolution? I don't necessarily think so, but I think it's a possibility because it has not been proved wrong, and possibly never will be. Just like I believe in possibility of evolution (a lot more evidence to support the theory of evolution, but perhaps it does not tell the whole story?) and even something outrageous such as scientology (though I tend to doubt theories such as this).

-Gravity exists and we cannot deny that, unless we are believers of flat earth. However, it is called a "scientific theory". Even gravitational theory has been refined over the past 200 years, with the discovery of the graviational constant and/or time-space.

-You said you await any evidence I have to offer on anything at all. Orange is a colour. We know this because: colour categories and physical specifications of colour are also associated with objects, materials, light sources, etc., based on their physical properties such as light absorption, reflection, or emission spectra. Typically, only features of the composition of light that are detectable by humans (wavelength spectrum from 400 nm to 700 nm, roughly) are included, thereby objectively relating the psychological phenomenon of colour to its physical specification. Because perception of colour stems from the varying sensitivity of different types of cone cells in the retina to different parts of the spectrum, colours may be defined and quantified by the degree to which they stimulate these cells. One of these colours is orange. Was this the evidence you're after?

The two are not reconsilable. Hopefully one day psychologists can explain the few deviants who manage to departamentalize the two.

As to Newton, he lived at a time and in a culture where it was unthinkable to be anything other than a Christian.

He also died well over a hundred years before Darwin's explanation of why we are here.

That is never an explanation, for Ed's sake! Just because something cannot be proved does not make it equally likely that it is true or not true. This is the reason that I sometimes mention tea cups orbiting Alpha Centayri or pink unicorns or invisible dragons in my garage or gremlins in my washing machine or whatever bull you can imagine.

I cannot prove that the above random inventions don't exist, but do you seriously feel that they as likely to exist as not to exist? (I can mention hundreds more if you like).

Thde theory of Evolution is no more a "theory" than say the theory of inheritance or the theory of electromagnetics. These things are facts, just as you radio or your television are facts.

Even Flat-Earthers know that gravity exists.

No it is not. Orange is a color because humans can distinguish something which is orange from something which is not.
