Default But what put NATO on meddling in Georgian problems?

It seems to me that the fixed idea of Georgia and its fly-away president to get into the Alliance at any price a.s.a.p. is becoming really big irritant for many Europeans. Georgian authorities constantly call on NATO members to help them in protecting the sovereignty of Georgia through supporting its ambitions towards Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
But what put NATO on meddling in Georgian problems? The Alliance has a lot of own problems in Iraq or Afghanistan, for example. So Tbilisi decided to provoke premeditated escalation of conflicts in these non-recognized states. Now Georgians go into direct confrontation with Russian peacekeeping forces, located in Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
Moreover, Georgian authorities have dared to report recently as if NATO demanded the withdrawal of Russian peacekeepers from conflict zones of Georgia, replacing them by Alliance’s troops. What a terrible lie! NATO members were always against using military methods to restore the territorial integrity of Georgia. And what is more, the Alliance (as it has been said by James Appathurai recently) continues to consider that Russian troops are the real force, which is capable to stop escalation of conflict in this region. Indeed, why does NATO need to fight battles for Georgians? Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan are quite enough for our pals from NATO troops. To all seeming Georgian rebellious autonomies will cost the Alliance even more pains and energy. So let Russians try to carry this Caucasian can!

First off I think the general consensus is Georgia needs to work out its provinces before we'll let it into NATO.

That said I think it's snuggly location with another country may have something to do with our interest in them. Hint, I don't think it's Russia this time.
