It's getting ridiculous that we are so caught up in thinking State first that any mention of something we should do is automatically taken up as a threat for regulation. I admit, it is the fault of the far-left for too often falling back on legislation for the solution to problems.
But it's resulted in the conservative response automatically being "(*)(*)(*)(*) it! No! The problem doesn't exist! No need for legislation! Please no legislation! And don't tell me it's bad to waste energy either or that it might be better for me to change some of my habits.).
The world needs more with visions on adapting to problems without relying on the state or with the misguided notion that market solutions must be "go with the flow" in nature. Information and smart consumerism are what make real change and solve problems.
But we may have to kick all these politicians to the curb before we can get the noise level down enough to hear the truth.
