The "record" you refer to comes from the global warming hoaxsters whose "record" only starts in 1860, so as to ignore all known warming periods prior to that date:

That's just hysteria spread by displaced Communists and Socialists who find every excuse they can to advise the US to surrender our freedom, productivity, and sovereignty over to the UN "saviors of mankind."

truth is that even the misguided "scientists" who started this hysteria don't make the claim you make of having any effect at all on the current warming trend. Actually, the temperature has been dropping for the last 3 years, and that's why your "guru's" have stopped using the term "global warming" in favor of using "climate change." The forests you worry about are larger than any other time in history due to mankind's existence......... putting out fires started by natural means that previously burnt unabated.
The religion you have faith in is based on false data. Michael Mann, the originator of the UN's IPCC "research" that inflamed hysterical passions, has refused to make his base data available for scrutiny by the scientific community. Repeated requests for this data has only been met with name-calling and ridicule, much like you do here. If you want to worship such misinformation, be my guest. But don't demand the rest of us give up our common sense and freedom to quiet your knee-jerk fears.
