The thing of it is, when you make an excuse to "mercy kill" one human. It has a tendency to go down a destructive path.

First it's the physically (*)(*)(*)(*)edup.

Then it's the elderly.

Then it's the poor.

Then it's the Jews.

Everyone has basic rights. One of which is the right to life. If your life is so horrible, then kill yourself and stop whining about it like a little (*)(*)(*)(*)(*).

The only choice you have in regards to life and death is your own, not anybody else'es. That is not an unreasonable position.

What is unreasonable, is forcing a living person to die when they don't want to, when they've commited no crime, that is unreasonable.

I don't care about this "faceless girl". So she's ugly. Big deal. I see ugly people all the time. Maybe not quite that ugly. But surely it wouldn't be the first time I'd go "yikes".

Are we suppose to abort children we know are prone to having zits and balding?

All human beings are capable of productivity and servitude, therefore they are all entitled to life. Even the brainless mass of flesh that doctors garantee will be born if you carryon with the pregnancy, has a right to come into this world, and be given the oppurtunity to become productive with time. This is an inalienable right that is nesscary for any other rights.

To deny this right is to deny all rights. Life is essential to have rights. And furthermore, anyone who would call themselves a liberal, or a communist, or a socialist, or left-wing in general, is a God-(*)(*)(*)(*) hypocrite.

They want to help this person and that person.

Then when it comes to someone who really needs their help, someone whose life is clearly in jepordy.. they're nowhere to be found..

If you want to be a real liberal you've got to learn to stop being such a little (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) and be able to look at the disabled, the povershed, the starving, and the crazies right in the eyes and tell them what they need to do and where they can go.

That's what makes us human beings and not scared little animals with our tails between our legs.

On the subject of aborting a fetus when it is found out they may be disabled/disfigured...

Before I had kids, I thought that I would abort a fetus if it had problems. It's an easy opinion to have when you are not actually having to decide for real. Once you see the child on an ultrasound and hear it's heartbeat, it is a completely different story. It would be a very hard decision to abort.

Ultrasounds and pre-natal tests are not perfect or fool-proof. My sister-in-law had a young friend that was told by her doctor that her baby would more than likely be mentally retarded based on the testing they did. She decided not to abort, and the child came out perfect. Could you imagine if you found out you aborted a perfectly healthy baby? I couldn't live with it.

But if someone didn't want a disabled child, how would they feel if tests showed the child was healthy, but when it was born, it wasn't?
Likewise, would a parent who does not want a disabled child take the risk that their unborn child would be healthy?
I don't think I could. I'd feel upset that doctors got the diagnosis wrong, but I wouldn't regret the decision, because I don't think I could take the risk that my child might be healthy, when tests showed it wasn't.

Where the hell did tolerance go? My whole life I've heard about tolerance for the "challenged," and here you go telling me that we should murder the "challenged."

I didn't tell you to kill anyone.
All I am saying is, if a doctor told me there was a chance my unborn child has a disabiltity, then, depending on what that disability was, I would possible abort. I wouldn't take the chance the baby would be healthy, because if it wasn't, I wouldn't want to keep it.

I don't see a problem with killing any child - provided it is in utero.
