Because if he went missing in the desert, no one would bother to look.

It is a fact that more native Australians died in police cells in Australia, than there counterparts in South Africa during that sad period. It was also found when establishing the credentials of native american tribal origin so that the tribal owners of Casino's did not give money to fraudulent claimants. This was done using DNA profiling in London. The proff that was doing this was also trying to find out why the native australian could not handle alcohol, he identified the reason and found a precise match with the native australian. Alcohol has been used to subjugate, and to try to destroy the pride in the identity of these wonderfull people! |

I personally don't have an issue with people criticising my country - whether they are from here or not. I'm not blindly nationalistic. None of us are perfect and nor are our countries. Quote:
He just didn't put it very well. He is saying that Australia is a crime scene because when our ancestors arrived here they slaughtered many thousands of indigenous people and pretty much got away with it. And that death and injustice to indigenous Australians has continued throughout our history and is still continuing today. He's just sensationalist and not very good at starting a thread about a discussion that would probably be very interesting if it were approached the right way.

Cape Grim in Northern Tasmania got its name because of the slaughter of ALL the indigineous people that lived there for tens of thousnads of years by 6 white settlers with guns.
Grim indeed - I suppose they needed land, you know chop all the trees down, wrech the natural habitat and introduce foreign weeds and pests such a wheat and sheep. Welcome to Australia - ONE BIG CRIME SCENE!
