I think for the moment the UK is best to handle this themselves. There was a unanimous vote by the U.N. Security Council on Saturday to impose new sanctions on Iran already. What’s the UN suppose to say to Iran? “Please forget that we just voted to impose new sanctions for the moment and hand back the troops?” Sanctions in the works and a possible military engagement with the UK is enough to get Iran to think straight.
