I might be wrong, it's been years since I read it, but didn’t the communist manifesto praise capitalists for globalizing the world? In fact, I remember it going on to say that while capitalism did a good job globalizing the world, we can and need to go further with communism... I would think this is in line with imperialism, not against it. They had an issue with class wars, not country boundaries.

Don't worry, in a decade of so the American economy will be in the garbage heap after more pointless wars in the Middle East, America will finance them (like the Iraq War) by borrowing overseas credit, America will be so indebted to China by the next decade that half their economy will be owned by Beijing. By then China will have proper aircraft carrier fleet and improved airforce.

China has absolutely no projectional power. Don't they have... one carrier, and it's a Soviet leftover they got from the Ukrainians? They probably would have trouble invading Taiwan. I would love to see a return to American Imperialism.
