Yeah I understand what you are saying about the small business owners. Implement some sort of tax breaks for them or something. Clearly im sure something could be done to protect them.

As far as taxing the rich more....Yeah I DO think they should be taxed more than the poor. I agree that they work for their money, and im not saying that they dont deserve their money, but quite frankly the government needs to get their money from somewhere and people making 25,000 a year certainly cant foot that bill.

Im generally a fan of lower taxes and MUCH lower government spending then we currently see. Do those things and you could lower taxes to begin with. However that clearly isnt going to happen, and since our government is tax happy if your going to get that money it has to come from somewhere. You tax the poor too much and they end up on welfare and you just go from one problem to another one. Tax the middle class too high and they end up poor. But tax the rich more and they are STILL rich, just not as rich as maybe they would like to be.

Im not saying they deserve it more than the poor. In most cases the rich worked really hard to get where they are. Its a simple matter of them being ABLE to pay more.
Why not just go with a flat tax? Tax everyone the same percentage. The rich will still be paying more. But it will all be the same percentage.

Remember that the Gov makes money off of lower taxes. Not higher ones.

Because it's still unfair. People need to stop treating wealthy people like 2nd class citizens. I'd rather see the FairTax where everyone pays taxes based on what they spend. Yes, "the evil rich" would still pay more, but at least it will be VOLUNTARY.
