That was one of the worst days for this country. Blatant disregard for citizens' rights and their safety. What makes it even worse is that the national guard was involved.

Luckily the police and national guard were able to make it to the scene on time. Instead of most of the guns being prudently secured, they would likely be in the hands of gangs and thugs who were systemically going through houses to take them.

If it weren't for the police and national guard, the city with be flooded with blood, not water, from the rampage criminals would have went on from having a large city as their personal gun shop.

That is an understatement , the 2nd amendment was totally disreguarded , now they need to give the guns back.

Luckily they were on the scene to forcibly remove guys from their legal owners? The guns were prudently secured by the citizens that owned them. By removing them, the police and guardsmen gave the criminals unfettered access to the city and the unarmed citizens.
