As I have explained to you many many times before, The US has lots of parties. The two major ones represent the majority of American political views. Thats why people vote for them.
But they are not forced to vote for them...there are dozens of parties they can choose from, and they can even write-in
themselves as a candidate if they want.

I dont know enough about it to comment one way or another. What exactly happened that makes you think it is not a democracy?
Democracy is simply majority rule. Whether it is a 51% majority, or a 95% majority, it is still majority rule.
If the majority of people
choose to vote for one or two parties to the exclusion of all others, that does not necessarily mean that the state is not a democracy. All that is required for a democracy is choice.

Please post your evidence that the US defines Russia as anything other than a democracy. I have never heard anything remotely official from the white house stating that.
