If the passengers knew what was going to happen I hope that the Americans or any sane person would have tried their best to thwart the act of war and atatck on the WTC's savng their and those on the ground.

I know that I would have fought them no matter what weapons they had.
I think that the passengers did not know the scope of what was going to happen. For all they knew it could have been a "standard" give me money" or "release our holy brothers' and so on. and plane for getaway or land and negotiate with the F.B.I. to try and achieve their objective. Tragically the objective was to ram those planes into our WTC's. Someone would have fought if they knew the full extent of their insanity.

Yet again, I still would've fought them even if they hi-jacked the plane for their brethern...And not too mention how and the hell did they not know that the plane was in a city? They all had windows to see outside. And the fact that too many guns were an issue is absurd. There was only two-four guys on that plane with a weapon. Lets face it, the reason why the passengers didn't resist brings up a million questions, and one of them that we attacked our own country! Why would America try to destroy our empire? Why would the goverment destroy WTC? Questions are strung up on this topic of 9/11. The people that believe America, the ones who destroyed their own empire (which already might happen, seeming how we are getting too powerful) with a hi-jacked plane. And the ones who think we are out there in Iraq for Oil might think that the reason was cause we needed a reason to invade Iraq. I simply can't bring my self to believe that the American Goverment had anything to do with 9/11!!!
