Were it not for social liberals (and libertarians like me), whom you no doubt abhor, you would probably be arrested for such an inflammatory statement. Returning to this thread's main topic, I am just as glad that Tony Blair is resigning as I would be if George W. Bush resigned. Blair and New Labour are actually worse than Bush, which is really saying something.
I take it that you didn't appreciate the stained brick comment....sorry you missed the funnah.
My point was that it doesn't matter to civil libertarians whether we "appreciate" a statement or not. I support your right to free speech as much as I support Michael Moore's. If it weren't for liberals and libertarians, someone most likely would have passed a law forbidding the sort of statement you just made, whether it was a poor attempt at humor or not.
