Default Since when did anybody think al Qaeda were nice guys?

Come on, they aren't called a terrorist organization for nothing. Have those of you who express shock been living in the closet for the past 6 years?

Here it is again: beheadings, suicide bombers, roadside sneaky bombs, sharia law, no democracy, blowing up large buildings in New York and killing 3000 people. Not nice people...the kind of people a country like the US might try to stop.

What I find shocking is how commonly accepted this issue of torture has become by American troops. The US is not supposed to do this stuff. We are the good guys, we sign things like the Geneva Convention, and join organizations like the United Nations who say torturing prisoners is not a humane thing to do. The US is the one who is supposed to fight fair - just like the movies show. Torturing people with electric shock to the balls is what the other guys do...the bad guys...as in al Qaeda.

How far will this logic of "anything to save Bush" go?
