I think it's more of a case that it isn't that wrong but technically he broke the law so he has to pay! This is what happened to Clinton and this is what happened to Genarlow Wilson. You can look up what happened to the latter when this way of justifying punishment is used. It's pretty bad. I will admit he broke the law, but if the law is wrong I don't necessarily agree that it should be strictly obeyed.
