Default Teaching Evolution and Creationisim in Schools

Teaching evolution in schools shouldn't even be in debate, people who deny it probably don't believe in gravity or the existence of germs either, but what i think should be under debate is the teaching of creationism in schools. I don't think that creationism should be taught in schools because religion and state should be kept separate and since creationism has no roots in reality, and that evolution has been proven again and again by the fact that bacteria are becoming resistant to our treatments. I think that children shouldn't be exposed to the poison that is religion, if you want to force your religious beliefs on your own child before they're old enough to decide for themselves whether or not they want to go to church, that's your prerogative, but don't try and do it to mine, especially in the sacred place that is our school system.
