It wouldn't be very good for the economy, but if they all went on strike for the same cause, it would certainly get a point across. It would be difficult for me to strike, since I am currently a student and plan on becoming a writer or a composer. Or perhaps both, since there is not much money in either unless one is very good or famous, save composition, which pays little no matter what.

I've heard about Atlas Shrugged before, but I've never really known anything about it. Having looked it up, I notice that my initial thoughts of it were wrong, since it is a novel, and I thought it was a purely political book without any elements of a story, as opposed to a novel. Looks rather interesting. I suppose I'll read it, even though it's really, really long. I've read Dostoyevsky, after all, and if one can manage to read his long and rather uneventful novels, one can read just about anything.
