Sunni man, before I forget, as much as I agree on your position on Iraq, there is a real possibility that if the permanent bases tragedy goes through there, Iraq may become the #1 client. It's a real possibility that the US would drop major funding to Israel and Egypt if it got a serious foothold there.

At the moment the world knows the US is obliged to leave as no one likes the idea of a nation having its sovereignty taken away, even if it is sovereign on paper. That makes everybody nervous and the US could find itself playing the new USSR in world affairs. However events are building towards that scenario: Iraq as #1 client, the US never leaving that sovereign country, Israel/ Egypt being de-funded at least significantly, the US campaigning in other nations nearby, one at a time.

In my opinion, the Israelie lobby in the American government, is way to strong for the U.S. to ever delegate them to a secondary status.

Yes, we will have a presence in Iraq for many, many years.

Heck, we are still in Germany and Japan more that 60 years after WWII.

just because the majority of Americans like Israel and want us supporting them,
doesnt mean the US is under Israeli control.
it just means we like them and dont want them enihilated.

are you certain of that little statistic?

Most of your media. Hollywood and financial institutions are controlled by Jewish people who hold dual citizenship - is it any wonder that the level of propaganda in the USA is so biased towards Israel and demonising towards the Palestinians who ARE UNDER OCCUPATION and being oppressed and killed?

There are UN resolutions that refer to this Israeli Occupation that YOUR US government continues to VETO.

Israel is ALSO in violation of the 4th Geneva COnvention with respect to its illegal and immoral occupation of Palestine.

The USA was one of the fouding nations that drafted the Geneva Conventions in order to prosecute the NAZI for war crimes and atroicities are WW2.
I would like to see your evidence for AMERICANS supporting the Israeli OCCUPOATION of the Palestinian people.

where is it?

i dont know.
wheres your proof that Americans dont like israel,
and its just the jew-controlled media that tells us we do?
most Americans know that Israel is doing what it has to do to survive.
none of the areas would be occupied if the nations of the middle east hadnt attacked israel ..... 3 times.
and life for the palestinians would doubtlessly be better,
if suicide bombers would stop blowing things up.
to make the palestinians out to be like the jews during ww2 is crazy even for you.

and i love how the israeli occupation is 'illegal and immoral',
but the arab that attacked israel,
and the suice bombers who kill people on buses,
they're ok.
its just israel and America who are evil and immoral

I said that whilst the US public supports Israel, it doesnt support its occupation of Palesitinian territories

i thought you were insinuating that most Americans dont like Israel.
support for the 'occupation' varies depending on whats happened most recently.
if a sucide bomber blows up a bus,
Americans will probably support israeli occupation more.
when israel fires a rocket that kills 3 bad guys and 15 women and children,
Americans will probably be more critical of israeli occupation.
