Is it racist to vote for McCain simply becasue he is white?

Let me know if you think voting for Obama only because he is black, to the exclusion of all other criteria, is racist.

Feel free to post any thoughts you have on what racism is.

I don't believe it would be racist to vote for McCain just because he is white. I DO however, thing it might be racist to say 'I'm voting for McCain just because he is white'. The action might not be racist, but I think it's a bit different when you actually say it...if anyone follows me here.

its stupid,
but not racist.
if you were voting for McCain because you hate blacks,
that would be racist.
but if both candidates are equal in your eyes,
you dont care about issues,
and you simply need a tie-breaker,
then skin color is as good as any other stupid reason
