Oh no, you've misread me. When i hear someone saying all rich people will go to hell and then attacking people for making profit in a house of god, tipping there money away in the process, i know Christ would have been a big supporter of modern western society. ESPECIALLY those televangelists who sell you salvation.

In fact i'm even more convinced after reading some other parts of the bible:

Then he said to them, "Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions."

Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven.

All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had.
With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all.
There were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales
and put it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need.

Socialisms coming back a bit (least in my experience in Britain) but's still incredibly weak. Hope for the future though ay Rebellion?
