They did not see it as a power worthy of any mention. It was the big propaganda that the United State used to terrify people before fighting them. Our brothers, who were here in Afghanistan, also tried the Americans. God gave them and the mujahidin success in Somalia and the United States pull out, trailing disappointment, defeat, and failure behind it. It achieved nothing. Bin Laden: "The Whole World Is Watching This War And The Two Adversaries; The Islamic Nation, On The One Hand, And The United States And Its Allies On The Other. It Is Either Victory And Glory Or Misery And Humiliation."

In the 26-minute video, bin Laden compares the Iraq war to Vietnam, criticizes the Democratic Party for failing to prompt a U.S. pullout from Iraq and encourages Americans to welcome Islam. He does not make any direct warning of an imminent attack... Yahoo News

Now let me ask you something, after reading just a few of these. do you honestly believe that by not allowing the US Mission in Iraq to finish and by pulling the US Military out now, that the people that are bent on the destruction of the very Freedoms you exercised this past weekend will just pack it in and say lets sit down and talk now? they have made it quite clear what their goals are and they could not be more clear and that is what I mean by misguided and misinformed. It seems to me the anti-war crowd is doing exactly what these people want you to do.
