I think this thread kinda misses the point.
At least "so far"....
The point would be, that the Jewish religion says "one God", the Christian religion says "one God", and the Muslim religion says, "one God".
Therefore, they must all be the same God, right?
And it doesn't matter by what NAME you call him (his "name" seems to be kinda obscure and hard to understand anyway, according to the Jews...

) - it's still the same God.
This is a very interesting exercise - go through the New Testament, and the Qu'ran, and count tne number of times the word "only" is used, in relation to claims of God.
I assure, you, you can count the occurrences on your fingers.
For instance, Jesus said, "I am the son of God", but he never said, "I am the
only son of God". (there's a footnote to that, about the meaning of the word "I" in that context, because there's a famous passage that goes "no comes to the Father but by Me", and there's pretty clear evidence that the "Me" Jesus appears to have been talking about, was "Me my state of mind", and not "Me my physical body") -
And then, Mohammed said, "I am the messenger", but he never said, "I am the
only messenger" -
So, see - stuff like that. You gotta be
very careful when studying stuff like this, 'cause the devil is in the details.
