If the class is what it's described as, I see no problem. Unfortunately I get the feeling if the class is actually taught as a lit and history class... the Georgia Christian parents will be upset. Using the bible as a literary and historical text is (should be) much different from using it as a book of faith after all.

There is no law against teaching the Bible as history and literature.
