Besides, I don't recall those polls. Unless you're talking about the screwed up exit polls election night in '04.

Beleive in your sacred polls if you must! I personally try not to put much stock in methodology that has been proven wrong so many times before!

Considering the disenfranchisement of Florida and Michigan voters, and the issue with the superdelegates - I don't know that I'd call it a "fair vote".

It's the way the system worked for this particular election, and it's the rules that the Democratic National Committee operated under... but it just kinda leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I need to do a little research to verify this, but I suspect that if the DNC had stayed with the "winner take all" primaries - the Democratic candidate for POTUS would have the same last name as the 42nd POTUS.
