You can't fault Bush for securing US interests. Just it would be nice if once US interests and World interests coincided.
The armenian genocide has been widely known for decades - why would they be passing such a resolution now? My guess is that they know the US depends on turkey's air bases for the iraq war, and this is their attempt to sabotage that relationship, and hence the war.

And skip the moronic crap about "world interests" - every country, without exception, follows their own interest.
