Today though it is an unnecessary to pass or push forward resolutions by the US Congress that do nothing but upset an ally that isn't even responsible for any of the acts of that time. The damage it can potentially cause with a touchy Turkey atm is simply not worth it.

The events are almost a century old and condeming an existing state for actions so far in the past especially when it is a key ally in the primary region of an ongoing war with the fore knowledge that such an act will (*)(*)(*)(*) off the people/government of that state for absolutely zero notable gain..is asinine foolishness.

None of those who orchestrted it..liely none of those who carried it out or suffered it are alive. Hell the vast amjority born* during it are dead. Its akin to dragging up some massacre in 1131 and condeming the state it occured in as well as the people there today for it. Just a tad ridiculous when there is no gain only cost to the action.

Course on the political front I do not put it past some of the Democrats to be using this as a tool to further undermine the war effort. They seem to make a past time of shafting their own nation&soldiers as much as possible.
Then why get upset with Amedinejahd? I mean the European Holocaust is History?
