I know that this country has a terribly forgetful collective memory, so maybe I already know the answer. But, how did we as a people that supposedly values justice and democracy allow the Chinese to ravage peaceful Tibet, and then give them a clean slate?

The horrors commited on the Tibetan people, their culture, and their religious freedom is disgusting, and one of the most vile acts in history. And yet our country watched it happen so many years ago, and we continue to let the Chinese regime off the hook for its continuing travasties.

And now, to add insult to injury, China will be hosting that internatiol symbol of goodwill and peace, the Olympics. For shame. Where is the outrage?
