Two things: First, you (the GOP) had choices besides George Bush the first time out. You picked Bush. You picked the biggest government President EVER. And you did it twice. Seems to me that's on you. Second, I was given the choice of Bush-Gore, too. I didn't vote for either. I voted for the small government candidate. He lost. I'm fine with it. Because none of this is my doing I can sleep easy at night! |
I didn't make clear that when I say conservatives, I mean the rank and file, the grassroots. Bush was of course picked by the delegates, ie, the party establishment.
