Because among republicans who will vote in the primaries, he is polling no where near that high. He only polls well in online polls in which anyone can vote.
The Democrats do not want to be on FOX until after the primaries. They're only preaching to their base right now anyway. |

It was a Republican debate. The only thing that matters is who primary voters think won the debate. What the general public think may be interesting, but unimportant. The only place where Paul is likely to win that kind of percentage is in his home district. He's my representative. Here, in my district, he's liable to win more than 50%, but no where else. Now, unless you want to assert that he is likely to win the nomination, the poll results are not valid. |
poll data for any republican debate would be invalid and there can be no actual winner and no loser because the potential poll voters are not exclusively republican.
makes one wonder then (1) why push the poll; (2) why publish results which have NO meaningfulness; and (3) why does faux news not devise an alternative polling technique which is able to record the votes only of republican voters? rhetorical questions 12th as we know faux does not seek to report reality ... it wants to create public perceptions hoping they will become the real outcomes. faux channel would make joseph goebbels proud

in the case of Ron Paul, and again accepting 12th's logic, it would appear that he is a strong candidate as he crosses over into the non-republican camp to garner support. that would seem to be a good thing ... unless you are opposed to what Ron Paul stands for
