Actually, it's not a debate as to whether or not it's human or not. Of course it's human. It's going to develop into a human being with 100% certainty. The debate is whether or not the developing embryo should be considered a person before it is fully developed.

The sex of the baby can't even be determined until the 9th week when the sex organs start to develop. Also, even though the fetus responds to prodding starting the second month of pregnancy, higher level brain function doesn't develop until much later in pregnancy.

So, simply saying that as long as the organs are developed, it's a person, doesn't exactly cut it. Would you feel bad about pulling the plug on someone who was brain dead? Probably not because they'll never recover. However, you seem to have quite a problem with aborting an embryo that has no cognitive brain function. Where is the difference at that stage?
