It does not matter what you call it. Every American should have the right to listen to their leaders without providing their addresses, phone numbers and DL#. If I am undecided, this is a chance for me to be convinced by either party. Is this not "SWING VOTER SEASON"? What is the VP afraid of? That someone will ask him a tough question? Or protest a position?
Why do you have the conception that if I disagree with a candidate, my presence at his rally or seminar will be cause trouble? Where are you getting that from? Or are you simply painting all of us with a broad brush?
The real question here is this: Why should any American have to disclose "personal info" that has nothing to do with listening to your VP speak?
