From the Obama website link in your post. Geeezzz this guy is scary naive

! At the same time the weapons inspectors were there, the U.N.'s head Kofi Anon and son were poaching the Oil for Food program, were suppose to believe the the Blixie Chicks would spoil Kofi's gravy train? Hans could get manila envelope blinders for what kofi was skimming. The U.N. Operation in Iraq was corrupt from the Secretary-General all the way down. What a joke as will Obama be if he's elected and believes what those crooks at the UN tell him.
If you'd like I'll post all the scandals just since 2000. It's a big list but the UN list of corruptions is too many to name individually, but my favorites are the of course oil for food, sea treaty bribery deal, sex slave trade in the Congo, selling donated relief supplies, peace keeper procurement swindle, illegal trade in gold with the FNI militia, ammunition for ivory in the Congo's Virunga National Park, rape & prostitution by UN peace keepers in Haiti & Liberia, kickbacks and a cut-price New York luxury apartment in return for doling out U.N. contracts to a company in India, French senior U.N. official Didier Bourguet who worked in the Congo where he was discovered to be the leader of an internet pedophile ring which produced three pornographic videos now on sale in the Congo, a former UN procurement officer, pleaded guilty in 2005 to conspiracy, wire fraud & accepting nearly $1 million in bribes from a Swiss company bidding for oil in Iraq. Most of the kickbacks were as a result of disguised sale of humanitarian goods in which contractors paid inflated “transportation fees” & “after sales service charges”, Hans Von Sponech, former humanitarian coordinator in Iraq solicited money from companies seeking to do business in Iraq.....The list just keeps going for miles. But Obama seems to believe in the U.N.
