The most people on earth, the worst the quality of life will be. If I had to decide,
there would be no more then 1000 people living on earth. Everyone would be on birth control and getting abortions. The smaller the group, the happier everyone can be. We are already running out of oil and water, I feel sorry for those who live on this planet a few thousand years from now.....they'll be praying for a Hitler.
Birth rates are declining as nations develop.

I don't think population will just explode like that as society moves forward with development.

Here's the stats for Swaziland (they have the highest death rate)
Birth rate: 26.6 births/1,000 population (2008 est.)
Death rate: 30.7 deaths/1,000 population (2008 est.)

And here's the stats for the UAE (they have the lowest death rate)
Birth rate: 16.06 births/1,000 population (2008 est.)
Death rate: 2.13 deaths/1,000 population (2008 est.)

As you can see the birthrate of the US and the UAE are pretty close. However people in the UAE die a lot less. Also, while the Birthrate of Swaziland is significantly higher than the other two, their death rate is even more significantly higher.
Muslim nations have very high birth rates...please don't try to deny that.
priceless! he didn't even look at those stats.

If you take a look at this chart you will see that population growth rates are not that bad. The highest is the UAE with 3.833%. The lowest is Montenegro with -0.925%.
There are a total of 30 countries with negative population growth and only 13 with a population growth rate above 3%.

The average population growth for the world is 1.159%.

some countries just die less. their birth rate is not that much higher, but high quality health standards make their population growth rate high.

Africa just "finished" their "World War" five years ago. The Second Congo War is sometimes referred to as Africa's World War. It caused upwards of 4 million civilian deaths and even after it officially ended an average of 1000 people were dying every day there in 2004 from malnutrition and disease.

On an unrelated note Iraq's death ratio is 5.14 deaths/1,000 population, 187th highest.
The ratio for the US 8.27 deaths/1,000 population 105th, highest.
