Think of it as a private party. Do you think YOU should be invited to EVERY private party there is? Heck, during the 2000 campaign, Al Gore came here to Dallas at rallies for him.....and I wasn't invited!! ONLY his supporters and potential contributors were invited. Should I have complained?????

a private party. It wasn't advertised as that, and the support-pledging requirement wasn't known to anyone until they got there. I don't think it's a problem for most people, the VP can invite anyone he wants to hear him, but i think it's a stupid move by the Reps. It creates the appearance of an exclusionist party.
