If they still sold their oil, just not to us, then there would be no problem whatsoever. If they cut off production completely, they would lose trillions. That is economic suicide.

So please tell me. What accounts for the huge increase in the price of oil and why then should we drill our own if OPEC is so wonderful? Any oil we found would be the same price.
