You have no shame or sense of decency.
Two things. First, John Kerry started all this when he "reported for duty" at the convention. If you want to run on your Vietnam veteran status, you better believe it will be scrutinized.

Second, it's unbelievably ridiculous for anyone to accuse me of denigrating Kerry's service. Don't forget for a minute that he came home and accused ALL Vietnam vets of horrendous war crimes. He denigrated his own service. Remember he said he threw his medals over the fence. He said he himself took part in violations of the Geneva convention. He's either a traitorous LIAR or a WAR CRIMINAL. Take your pick.

Ironic that you say I have no sense of shame or decency.
There is a difference between scrutinizing someone's service and claiming someone is a coward because apparently his injuries were not severe enough for your satisfaction. When John Kerry came home he reported what he saw. He saw war crimes. Do you think he was alone? There have been countless other first hand reports from veterans saying they witnessed soldiers doing horrible things. In fact, 109 soldiers and 16 civilians also talked about the war crimes they saw committed during the Winter Soldier investigation. Are they all traitors or war criminals for reporting what they saw? I have heard some stories of war crimes personally from first hand sources. To think that no horrible war crimes were committed in Vietnam is naive to the point of plain stupidity. John Kerry did not claim that all soldiers were war criminals, he just claimed the ones he saw committing war crimes were criminals. John Kerry did not denigrate his own service, he just claimed that this war wasn't worth fighting. That doesn't change the sacrifices that he made. Would you have had Kerry just ignore the atrocities that he saw? It takes a brave man to come forward and report what he saw, it also takes a brave man to say that a war he bled for was not worth it. It takes no bravery to criticize a veteran over the internet.

To say that he is a LIAR without any evidence that his claims were wrong or that he knew them to be wrong is disgusting. To say he is war criminal for following orders that violated the Geneva Conventions is foolish. He was just being a good soldier and doing what he was told.
