The head of the family.
The man is the head of the family. Men and women are equal in a genral sense (mankind); however, each has a different role in the relationship. The woman carries the baby, but the man is the head of the family and has an equal if not greater moral role in this.
The bottom line is that I do not agree with abortion (murder). Now we have technology to see if the child developing has birth defects or if it will affect the health of the woman, child or both.
Before technology I would say that in no case is abortion a legal or moral act to undertake. Now; with technology, it may be acceptable to consider "abortion" if the child is going to have such severe birth defects it would be a terrible burden, or and ectopic pregnancy or there is a severe health risk to the mother and/or child. In any case I choose life; and if one of the above mentioned conditions exists both the mother and father must be involved in making such a critical decision.
I am pro-life and both should be involved in making any matter that involves killing a baby. By the way, life begins at conception, I am not Catholic, if that even matters to anyone. If anyone questons this I ask you when does the mass of cells become a living child and has "rights". What day, hour, minute or second; there MUST be a breakover point when this occurs for those of you who are pro-choice.
