The logic of those pushing for this legislation say by making "all" spankings illegal it will send a message to those who do abuse?
By punishing people who do not abuse?
Of course every time this stuff comes to the point of becoming law, and parents who have everything under control until their authority has been undermined, ask for a suggestion from these child psychology experts for an alternative, all they get is, "well your the parent it is totally up to you"!
