And, you are wrong about Huckabee trying to do away with income tax. Fact is, the alleged fair tax would create a new tax in America, a 23 percent tax upon the sale of people’s property, real and personal, while the legislation, H.R. 25, keeps alive Congress’s power to lay taxes calculated from income. What Huckabee is trying to do and seems successful at it is, conning people into believing he wants to end Congress’s power to calculate taxes from profits, gains, salaries and other incomes.

If we can make the majority of America’s population dependent upon a monthly federal government check, [H.R.25`s ``family consumption allowance`` which Huckabee supports], we can then bribe them for their vote, keep ourselves in power, and keep the remaining portion of America’s population enslaved to pay the bills.
