-Good point you make about topics evolving. I wouldn't advocate a strict post limit though, just one that would make users seriously think about not wasting one of their valued posts; similar to how congress gets time limits whenever they wish to speak. I mean they won't let you filibuster for months anymore will they?
-Also, I haven't been around long enough to see these better examples you speak of.
-I will have to disagree with your last statement about how "we" are better informed. The fact remains that anyone can get on here and post pretty much anything they want, no matter how absurd, as many times as they want, in as many threads as they want...
-A solid, valid opinion has to based on something, not just pulled out of someones sphincter (pardon language). If someone tells me that they want to take over the world forcibly, and change their form of government (and possibly kill A LOT of people in the process), and that the only reason for it is because "I'm better than then they are" (basically that is having an opinion on another opinion), then that is not an opinion based on anything that even remotely demonstrates any level of critical thinking ability, knowledge, intelligence, or common sense.
-Now I don't have a problem with someone revealing that opinion once or twice, of course that is the person's right to do so; but why spam this nonsense in every single thread in every other post?
