The funny thing about all this high-faluting respect for "life" by conservatives is that they only care about the unborn life. Once the baby is born, most of 'em couldn't give a sheet. From penny pinching on education to vetoing childrens health care and grooming then for canon fodder - the conservative male is on the cutting edge of what disgusts the rest of us.

Well yes, you know, keep the baby because it's cruel to kill it, give it up for adoption and well who cares if it lives a life of misery? At least it's alive and there is some good to come out of being abused and molested and neglected etc etc...

I think it boils down to the woman who makes the decision and therefore has to live with it. It is her body. It is her baby. It is her choice.

As far as whether or not we men have any rights concerning this I say we made the choice to accept the consequences when we decided to have sex. If the woman has an abortion and releases us from responsibility for a child that is her choice. If she chooses not to have an abortion then we men carry responsiblity and again that is her choice. We men made OUR choice when we consented to sex. While it is unfortunate for the man who wants the child to be denied by the woman who does not it is again her choice as it is her body.

Conservatives protect a human being's rights. What they do with their rights is up to them.

There was still the choice. No one is forcing a woman to get pregnant, so she should live with the consequences of her own actions instead of killing another human being for not wanting to deal with those consequences.
