Your site is way out of date if that's what it says. Here's the current exchange rate:
http://finance.yahoo.com/currency
One U.S. dollar will get you $1.004 Canadian.
If you use Google's built-in currency converter (enter "1 USD in Canadian dollars" in the search field) you'll get a similar result.
