It was interesting, when I was in Amster(*)(*)(*)(*) at the Anne Frank House, they have this very interesting interactive study room where you watch these videos dealing with current issues. Everyone gets a little voting remote and then you decide on which side of the issue you are on. After everyone votes the percentages of the votes are displayed on a big screen.
One was the neo-nazi organizations in Europe and their rights to free speech, and out of a group of I think about 75 people, I was the only one who thought Neo-nazis should have a right to free speech. Granted I was in the Anne Frank house and the location might have provided some bias to the voting against neo-nazis, but I thought it was very intesting that out of all the people there, they were all willing to limit free speech if they thought it was wrong.
Either way, I don't think Germany will ban a religion, that's too totalitarian of them, even if it is one of the stupidest religions I have ever seen. It seems like the AA caught onto a story that was pretty sensational but lacks any real backing by the people or the government.
