Russians understand strength. It makes sense to them. They've been invaded many times from the west, and they're "wary" of what those crazy Europeans will do, and I mean, they've succeeded in repelling the invaders pretty much "every time", right? So, strength "makes sense" to them.
The Russian PEOPLE though, are great - they're actually quite warm, "inside". You know, they have an "operational" side, and an "emotional" side, just like everyone else.
