No, I don't consider animals equal to humans. They don't have the proper brain structure to take part in society and they are lower on the food chain. They do serve whatever purposes and shouldn't be abused.

Death row prisoners have been given the right to live and they made the choice to take the lives of others. Since they don't have the right to kill others, killing them is a justifiable punishment.

People on life support are at the mercy of any wills, or guardians. They made their choices on guardians and legal documents so it is their will what the decision is.
