thought we were supposed to be promoting more democracy in the middle east .... yet here they have an elected government (the Palestinians voted out the corrupt fatah regime) and you propose to derail it. amazingly inconsistent consistancy you are advocating there ... duh!

there is a certain irony at work here. the mossad was instrumental in creating hamas, as an opposition to arafat and his PLO/fatah organization. now that arafat is gone, the new enemy of the state of israel has become hamas

that so many of our neoCON cohort now are wistful for the return of fatah is even more ironic as fatah/PLO received much of its materiel support from the communists when it was instigating the lebanese civil war, black september, perpetrating the coastal road massacre, the damour massacre, the avivim school bus massacre, the ma'alot massacre, the savoy hotel killings, and supporting saddam's invasion of kuwait. this is too rich. speaking of rich, in 1993 the brit intelligence service reported that fatah's PLO was the richest of all terrorist organizations

so, let's sum this up. you and your neoCON brethern prefer a communist supported terrorist organization which has committed a variety of crimes against humanity thru the recent decades instead of a democratically elected hamas. gotta love it. anybody wonder why the arabs hate us?
