The simple truth is that oil and gas are not going to be the most logical way to power our cars and probably our homes in a matter of years. we are already being smashed by the monopoly known as OPEC, and it's not likely that it's going to improve - if it does it wont last long.

The free market system will begin to eat up energy and the first one that provides efficient cheap fuel will win. whether that is electric, nuclear, ethanol, or hydrogen. What I am saying is we need to aim in the right direction that will provide jobs for Americans. if we don't, we lose that opportunity.

The change is inevitable, but we have a choice now.
